Hello, I am Jared Berglund, founder of Pure Vision Entertainment. My background in the entertainment and mobile events industry started over 18. Over that time I have had the opportunity to work in different roles such as DJ, Catering, Coordinator, Videographer, and in a Venue role. Music career began many years ago growing up playing the tenor saxophone for over9 years. My DJ career began back in 2009 when I became the DJ at the largest Country Bar in the Northwest called Duke's Country Bar & Grill. From there I migrated into larger dance clubs of all musical formats while also venturing in the mobile events industry. To this day my love and passion for music still holds just as strong as day 1 that I continue to play bars, clubs, music festivals, corporate events and weddings and having the opportunity to travel all over Oregon, Washington and parts of California.
As a DJ, I always strive to create a personal relationship with my clients, similar to that of a friend or family member. My favorite aspect of working weddings is the lifelong friendships the develop. Every wedding I have been apart of I still push to keep that relationship alive well beyond the day. I love seeing couples having babies, go on vacations, receive promotions and much more. I feel that we are able to develop a special bond between each other that I strive to celebrate every milestone in their journey and love that they are still cheering me on at the same time.

I was born and raised in a small town in great state of Kansas, and that’s where my musical journey Began. I started becoming involve din music the way most kids do, through the school band program. Little did I know the decision I made to play the trombone would change my life. I had the opportunity to play from grade school, middle school to high school, while earning a scholarship to study music at Wichita State University where I received a degree in music performance. During my time in Kansas I played for many different Ensembles and groups that traveled all over the United States to perform. In 2014 I picked up my first set of turntables, and used my musical knowledge and training to push myself to the point of live performances such as clubs, weddings, and social events. In 2017 I moved to Portland Oregon where I have continued to play my horn and DJ regularly.
Having the opportunity to be a wedding DJ is one
of the best experiences in life, and it seems like each and every wedding gets better and better. That is why I strive to always give 110%. It’s look on The bride and groom‘s face at the end of the night, that look of pure happiness and accomplishment knowing that their new life has just begun with a major bang. I love that LOOK! It pushes me to be a better DJ so that I can have that experience with every couple, family member and guest at each and every wedding.

Shay Baca is an up-and-coming female DJ, located in Portland, OR. She is best known for playing a variety of house styles, with bass and hip-hop being a core focus. She mostly plays up-beat dance music while incorporating samples from popular songs, in order to encourage people to get on the dance floor and sing along. Shay's musical influences are a lot like James Hype, Sick Kick, Sidepiece, Wax Motif. If it ain't hip-hop/G-house influenced, it's probably a sexy-ass vibe!
Throughout Shay Baca’s music career, she has carved out a niche for herself as a DJ, promoter, and event planner, in order to create an overall entertainment experience. Overall, her goal is to bring more people together by blending a variety of genres and enhancing the music experience fora variety of listeners.

Rian Simpson, AKA DJ Raintree, has been tearing up dancefloors as a professional DJ for eight years. A lifelong lover of music, Rian learned to play guitar, piano, and six other instruments in his youth. At college, he studied audio engineering, music theory and had the opportunity to work with local artists in the recording studio. This propelled him into the world of professional DJ's.
His gigs have taken him up and down the west coast, with everything from intimate weddings to large corporate gigs for Nike and Dutch Bros. His passion though is weddings. Having gotten married himself in 2021,Rian has a deeper understanding of how quickly the special day flies by. "I enjoy making wedding days special and fun for everyone. Music connects us and knowing that I am helping a couple remember one of the best days of their lives is something I take very seriously."

Our job is to provide our clients with over-the-top entertainment and fantastic music that keeps their guests dancing their asses off all night long. We care deeply about making sure that music elevates the energy of the room, and provide a playlist that is appropriate for all stages of the event. Our clients know that we will play a mix of romantic ballads, classic Motown, beach shag, throwback 90s 80s, and 70s hits with a combination of all of today's current music. Moreover, we can read any room and adjust the music to our guest's needs.

My name is Marc Roy and I’m a husband to a beautiful wife(Amy) and a father to 2 amazing kiddos! I teach hip-hop dance part time at Groove Nation Dance Academy as well as at Camas Christian Academy. Dance has been my life for the past 15 years and then I fell in love creating videos much like I choreograph dances. “Creating” brings me joy! It’s always nice to see all of the hard work come together in the end.

Deontre, has a mission to impact the lives of his community through his craftsmanship. Giving back to the youth of his community, Deontre has opened a streetwear store in the heart of downtown Portland. Providing tools and resources for the youth to come and be able to thread their dream sinto reality. His Motto is “Proper preparation, prevents poor performance”.
Working in many different settings has allowed him to become extremely versatile behind the camera. Deontre’s versatility gives him a different perspective behind the lens. Giving him the ability to execute and bring a unique, yet comfortable style to your wedding. Deontre says “it is much more fulfilling capturing the night of a lifetime” when asked to share his perspective on filming weddings.
